Cheap Flights to Alicante Airport
With budget airlines adding to the existing charter flights, Alicante is now one
of the main holiday destination airports for holiday makers arriving
from the UK. Alicante is the airport for holiday makers heading to
popular resorts of the Costa Blanca including Benidorm, Albir, Alfaz
del pi, Denia, Javea, Murcia, Torrevieja, Calella De La Costa, Levante,
Pineda, Poniente, Altea and Calpe. Unless you live particularly close
to a UK airport offering scheduled flights to Alicante we would recommend
that you should check out budget or charter flights to Alicante first
as there are some great late deals and last minute flight bargains
available. |

The City of Alicante
Alicante is not just an airport, it is also a beautiful city and its
wonderful boulevards with palm trees and shopping streets make it
one of the most popular towns along the Costa Blanca. With many historical
buildings in and around the city, Alicante offers numerous sightseeing
attractions from cathedrals and churches to the wonderful harbour
area. The Costa Blanca attracts millions of tourists every year and
most of them fly to Alicante airport. In the north the costa blanca
starts with Denia and Javea - two picturesque towns at the bottom
of a mountain. In the south the costa blanca goes down to Guardamar
and Torrevieja with Benidorm, Altea and Calpe in between.
Connecting Flights
Because of the large number of UK airports flying charter and budget
flights to Alicante it is unlikely that you will need to make a connecting
flight. However if you are travelling from an airport such as Inverness
it is likely that Manchester or Gatwick will be the best place to
make connections, either between scheduled flights or between domestic
and charter flights.

Fly Drive Deals
There are plenty of good value fly drive deals available at Alicante.
For cheap alicante car hire consider the local specialised Alicante
car hire companies or one of the international car hire firms. Car
hire is cheap and online booking procedures are simple but remember
to consider some of the extra facilities on offer. For example from
April to November temperatures can reach 40 C so air conditioning
is a very popular extra. Remember that if you are travelling with
a baby or child then it is best to bring your own child car seat with
you. Another factor to consider is how many named drivers you are
going to elect for. |
